A staycation in Macau

Are massages, suites, manicures, brunches and cocktails your thing? If not, remove yourself from my presence immediately!

My travel business partner, Emma, and I were recently treated to a swanky getaway from the Sheraton Grand Macao - just the ticket to refresh this weary Mama's body and mind!

This 2D1N sojourn is ideal for birthday weekends, staycations, and hens/bachelorette parties - or for when you're unmistakably in the mood to get your PJ-toting femme fatale on (cue the 90s music).

The package includes:

  • Accommodation for four in the Presidential or Ambassador Suites, Sheraton Grand Macao (super comfy beds, fyi)
  • Award-winning treatments at the hotel's flagship spa, Shine Spa
  • Cocktail-making (and then drinking!) class
  • Seafood buffet at Xin
  • Private yoga class
  • In-room manicure and pedicure
  • Sunday brunch at Bene
  • Tickets to climb Macau's landmark, Eiffel Tower (a nice way to confuse your friends on Instagram)
  • Full access to Sheraton Club Lounge.

Pricing for four people is HKD15,888++ (Presidential Suite) or HKD12,888++ (Ambassador Suite).

This stay was a flawless path to pampered perfection. We left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for work again (albeit, with a little complaining Monday morning).

My favourite part of the weekend?

The unbelievably relaxing massage at the award-winning Shine Spa - honestly one of the top three massages of my entire life (and let's face it, I haven't exactly held back in the indulging-in-massages department).

Another fave was the cocktail making session with bartender extraordinaire, Nicholas. It was almost universally agreed that my 'Pink Lady' creation was probably the best cocktail ever made. I mean, like ever. I could tell you what was in it, but then I'd have to kill you. You understand the drill.

And lastly, indulging in a mani and pedi in your own private suite, chillin' like a villain in a fluffy, white robe: living life like a lady boss **delicately fist bumps with Emma, as to not ruin manicures**

Thank you to the the Sheraton Grand Macao for hosting us. We'll be back!
